Facility
Hamilton Craft Studios is housed in a 14,000 square foot multidisciplinary craft studio located in a 1920s era drawn wire factory at 121 Princess St in Hamilton, Ontario.
Vintage concrete and brick frame panoramic windows that let natural light permeate every inch of the 2nd floor fabrication shop and 3rd floor studio spaces. Our facility is host to emerging artists, hobbyists, makers, clubs and events.
2nd Floor
Our woodworking and CNC fabrication shop are outfitted with quality machinery and industrial tooling. Workbenches, vises, storage space, hand tools, clamps, jigs and fixtures are all available for member use.
3rd Floor
Our Ceramics and Textiles Studios are located on the 3rd floor of the building. With windows on all 4 sides of the building, the light in here is magic. Studio equipment and working surfaces are available for all makers utilizing the studios.
Laser cutter bay is located here as well.
The 3rd floor is home to our kitchen and coworking space - currently under development but plans are well underway.
